The district wants you to learn as much as you can about the proposed spending plan before the vote, which will be held from 6 a.m.-9 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19. More information will be posted as it becomes available.


Budget Newsletter available for viewing

On May 19, district residents will go to the polls to vote on a $59,652,247 proposed budget for the 2009-10 school year. This budget represents a 1.42 percent spending increase over the current year’s budget – the lowest spending increase in more than 20 years – and would increase the tax levy by 3.95 percent. Board of Education candidates announced

On May 19, voters will elect three members to the Board of Education for three-year terms. The elected members will fill the seats of Martha Bogart, Judith Green and Robert Kish, whose terms expire on June 30.

The Board of Education candidates are:

Learn how new changes to STAR Program may affect your taxes

While New York State taxpayers will no longer receive a STAR Rebate check in the mail, the STAR Exemption program is still in place. However, there are some changes to the program that could affect your property taxes and that you should be aware of. Full story

  • May 12
    Last day to hand in application for absentee ballot. Learn more
