The New York State Education Department has
adopted the ISTE: National Educational
Technology Standards (NETS) for Students,
Teachers, and Administrators . GCSD aligns
it's instructional technology program with
these standards in order to plan
instructional lessons for student and
professional development for staff.

Administrators "identifies knowledge and
skills constituting the 'core' of what every
P-12 administrator needs to know about and
be able to do with technology regardless of
specific job role."
