Foreign exchange students honored at Board meeting

October 4, 2011 – At the Board of Education meeting on October 3, foreign exchange students at the Goshen High School were honored.

Jana Driendl is from Meckenheim, Germany. Her mother is a medical secretary and her father is a Naval Officer. Her interests include gymnastics, skiing, reading, tennis, theater and writing. Her host parent is Corina Roberts Brendle.

Barbara Jordens is from Jodoigne, Belgium. She lives with her mother, father, two sisters, her dog, Scotty, and her two cats, Mistigis and Mulan. Her interests include cooking and baking, dancing, going to the movies, reading and riding horses. Her host parent is Debra Wetmore.

Mengyu Liang is from Kunming, China. Her mother is an accountant and her father is a senior engineer. Her interests include listening to popular music, traveling, family activities, visiting museums, sewing and arts and crafts. Her host parent is Elaine Kimmel.

Victoria Viapiana is from Porto Alegre, Brazil. Her mother is a psychologist and her father is the director of a company. She had one younger brother. Her interests include school activities, travel, visiting museums, arts and crafts and shopping. Her host parent is Corina Roberts Brendle.
