December
8, 2011 - When Scotchtown Avenue
Elementary School students attend music class, they check out the
"Who Am I" bulletin board for the latest clues about that
week's mystery composer, and listen to music compositions written
by the composer.
Recently, a first grader
in Michael Palazzo's class was the first to correctly guess that
George Frederic Handel was this year's first mystery composer
and was named the Golden Note Award winner. In all,
more than 200 first and second grade
students were able to
correctly identify this famous composer.
