January
10, 2012 – The members of the Goshen High School chapter
of the National Honor Society are lending a helping hand to a classmate
who was recently diagnosed with cancer.
Club members recently donated $1,000 from the proceeds of their annual citrus sale to junior Ashley Wade and her family. In November, Ashley was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma, a malignant bone tumor, in her heel and ankle. The donation will help offset the family’s travel costs to Columbia University Medical Center in New York City, where Ashley receives chemotherapy.
