Attention parents: Security filters may block e-mails

January 11, 2012 - Recently, the district has received phone calls from parents who have had their e-mail messages "bounce back" after e-mailing their child’s teachers. These messages are being blocked due to our e-mail security filters. We understand this may be frustrating for some parents; however, these security filters must be in place in order to protect our network.

If your e-mail message is blocked, you will receive the following message:

Your e-mail message was blocked by Goshen Central School District system security rules that have determined this incoming message contains certain, potentially suspicious, characteristics or dangerous attachments. If you feel this message was blocked in error, please telephone the appropriate Goshen Central School District location to report it: Goshen High School (845)615-6100, C. J. Hooker Middle School (845)615-6300, Goshen Intermediate School (845)615-6500, Scotchtown Avenue Elementary School (845)615-6600, District Offices (845)615-6720. Thank you.
