Goshen High School to present Wizard of Oz

January 30, 2012 - The Goshen High School will present The Wizard of Oz as this year's musical. Performances will be held at 7:30 p.m. March 23; 1:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. March 24; and at 1:30 p.m. March 25.

Dear Friends:

Goshen High School is pleased to present the musical, The Wizard of Oz, adapted from the book by L. Frank Baum. This year’s show will be directed by Lori Fedor, assisted by Molly Lloyd and Hugh Mackay and choreographed by Ronda Barber, Veronica Nogrady and Ruth Hulbert.

The cast is busy in rehearsals. Many staff and community members have been volunteering their time to support our students. We are especially grateful to the many parent volunteers who have been assisting us behind the scenes. Goshen High School has a long tradition of outstanding musicals. This year’s show promises to be as entertaining. Through the support and backing of our community, recent shows have sold-out weeks before performance dates.

The Wizard of Oz will be performed on:

Friday, March 23rd at 7:30 pm; Saturday, March 24th a matinee at 1:30 pm and an evening performance at 7:30 pm, and Sunday, March 25th a matinee at 1:30 pm.

In order to ensure that ticket sales are handled properly, please note our policies:

  1. The prices of all reserved tickets are $12.00 and $25.00.

  2. Tickets must be paid for in full at the time of purchase. Phone orders will not be accepted.

  3. All ticket sales are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

  4. You may become a patron of the GHS Performing Arts Department by purchasing a ticket for $25.00. This price includes a reserved seat in the front orchestra and listing of your names in our program. Since patron seating in the theater traditionally sells out quickly, orders should be received by Friday, February 10th to assure the best seats and a listing in our program. Only limited seating in Patron Section for Saturday Matinee is available. For additional information, please call Karen Beilman at 615-6105.

  5. All seating is done on a first come, first served basis. You will be given the best seats available at the time of purchase. Please understand we are not able to honor specific seat requests.

If you would like to order tickets, please fill out the ticket order form (PDF) and return it, together with cash or a check made payable to:

Please write TICKETS on the outside of your envelope.

Orders may also be placed in person at Goshen High School. Please complete the order form and enclose it with your payment in the box provided in the main office. All tickets will be mailed promptly. Ticket requests received after Friday, March 8th will be held at the door. For additional information, or to request a ticket order form, please call
