January
6, 2012 - On December 21, members of the C. J. Hooker Middle
School’s Leo Club visited Elant in Goshen to deliver their handmade
candy poppers to senior citizens.
The Leo Club members collected items to make the candy poppers, and the candy was donated by Hannaford in Middletown and CVS in Goshen. The Leos, along with members of the Service Club, then met after school to assemble 300 poppers.
“The students truly enjoyed spreading some joy during this holiday season,” said Leo Club Advisor and Guidance Counselor Jennifer Blake.
