Lady Gladiators Basketball Program available for girls in grades 2-6

Girls smiling with basketballs February 10, 2012 - The Elementary Lady Gladiators Basketball Program is held from 6-8:15 p.m. on Wednesday evenings for girls to practice basic basketball skills.

Girls in grades 2-3 meet at Scotchtown Avenue Elementary School, directed by Teacher Aide Jen Musumeci, while the girls in grades 4-6 practice at the Goshen Intermediate School, directed by Superintendent Daniel Connor.

Both groups are assisted by a parent volunteers who help coach the girls and get them excited about playing basketball.

More than 100 girls are participating in the program and all are welcome to attend. The girls do drills, work on their skills and play games each week to become better basketball players, have fun and stay active.
