31, 2012 - On May 24, several Goshen High School students were
inducted into the Orange-Ulster BOCES Career and Technical
Education Center (CTEC) 2012 National
Technical Honor Society.
The 117 new inductees joined current National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) members at the induction ceremony, held at the Emanuel Axelrod Education Center on the Orange-Ulster BOCES campus in Goshen, that recognized their high academic achievement, commitment and involvement in extracurricular activities.
NTHS distinguishes, honors and encourages students who excel at their career and technical education studies and who possess admirable character, attitude and a strong intellect. The 117 students who were inducted have maintained a 92 percent average or better in their CTEC classes, an 85 percent or better average in their home high schools, have a 95 percent attendance rate and are involved in school, community service and/or part-time employment.
