Goshen Schools conducting online survey on school climate
June 14, 2012 – In the fall of 2009, the members of the Board of Education and district administrators collaborated to establish a 3-year goal and objective plan for the district that will carry through the 2011-12 school year.
One of the goals is "to enhance school and work climate for all through a supportive climate for faculty, staff, administrators, parents, community and students."
Beginning in February 2010, and again in June 2011, the district asked the Goshen community to participate in a short, online survey that asked opinions about the district's school climate. District officials are now asking the Goshen community to participate in the survey once again.
Once again, there are four separate surveys, all asking the same questions, for four different categories. Participants are asked to complete the survey that falls into the category that best describes his or her role in the Goshen community. If you fall into two categories, for example, if you are a Goshen parent and a faculty member, please fill out both surveys accordingly. The categories are:
Results will be collected and shared with the community. Please note that the survey will be available until Friday, July 13, so please take the time to fill it out as soon as possible.
