Meet and greets are an opportunity for you to briefly step into your child's classroom, meet your child's teacher and many other students/families in the class. You may wish to bring your child's school supplies with you and drop them off at this time. We respectfully ask that if alternate arrangements for childcare may be made, it is best to leave siblings at home.
Meet and greets will be held on Thursday, September 1 at the following times:
12:30-12:50 p.m. - Second Grade
1:10-1:30 p.m. - First Grade
1:50 p.m. Kindergarten classes of Mrs. Cohen, Mrs. Doyle, Mrs. Eichenhofer, Mrs. Goetze, Mrs. Diaz
2:10 p.m. Kindergarten classes of Mrs. Klos, Mrs. Lynch, Mrs. Vaughan, Mrs. Willard, and Mrs. Loftus
Note - Kindergarten Meet and Greet will also include Kindergarten Orientation and meet for a more extended period of time.
Orientations are an opportunity for you to get a more in-depth look at your child's educational program. Teachers will present and share about the academic, social and behavioral expectations for your child, and the means through which we go about helping your child achieve these expectations.
Orientations will be held on the following schedule:
Kindergarten - Orientation will be held during meet and greet on September 1. See schedule above.
First Grade - September 8 at 7 p.m.
Second Grade - September 14 at 7 p.m.
Note - Orientations are not parent-teacher conferences. You will have an opportunity to discuss your child's individual progress in a more discrete setting at the parent-teacher conferences held at the end of the first trimester.
Parent Teacher conferences are held later in the
fall. These conferences are held individually with each set of parents.
This is a more in-depth opportunity for you to discuss your child's
individual progress with his/her teacher. Watch the website as well as
mailings and memos for more information about these dates and times.
