Scotchtown Avenue collecting school supplies for students in need

August 4, 2011 - Like all schools, each year, our teachers send out a list of requested supplies. In an effort to help ensure that EACH child begins the year on equal ground with all of the necessary supplies, we are organizing a supply drive. If you are able, perhaps you might consider picking up an extra supply or two to be donated to our building supply drive. The donated supplies will be distributed to a confidential list of Scotchtown Avenue Elementary School students.

Supplies may be dropped off on the open-school days scheduled for Monday, August 29 or Tuesday, August 30 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Bins will be located in the main lobby. If you are unable to make it on these days, please call SAS and alternate arrangements will be made.

If you are in need of support to obtain the supplies necessary, please reach out to either Mrs. Mary Kay Jankowski, school social worker (845-615-6635), or Ms. Amy Peluso, building principal (845-615-6600). All requests will be treated with the utmost confidentiality and discretion.
