September 14, 2011 - Next Tuesday, September 20 and Wednesday, September 21, we will host our annual Middle School Parent Orientations.

We are opening the doors at 6:30 p.m. for PTO membership and Book Fair shopping. During this time, you may also sign up for parent-teacher conferences, which are held in November. The November conferences are limited to only 10 minutes; therefore, if you require more than the 10 minutes allotted, we ask that you schedule a team meeting during a regular school day, which will give you additional time to discuss your child’s progress.

Sixth Grade Parent Orientation
Tuesday, September 20

6:30 p.m. - Doors Open – Main Entrance

  • Sign up for November conferences

  • Visit the Book Fair – Old Gym

  • PTO Membership table – Main Lobby

7 p.m. - General meeting in the Auditorium for all parents/guardians

  • Introduction from Administration

  • Overview of Unified Arts & Sciences

  • Welcome from PTO

7:30 p.m. – Sixth Grade Team Meetings

  • Purple Team – Auditorium

  • Yellow Team – New Gymnasium

  • Maroon Team – Cafeteria

  • ESL teachers – Library

  • AIS teachers – Old Gym (at Book Fair)

Wednesday, September 21

6:30 p.m. - Doors Open – Main Entrance

7:30 p.m. - Mini Schedule

  • Follow your child’s schedule (Students will leave their schedule in Homeroom)

  • Also note that:

    • AIS teachers will be located in the Old Gym (at Book Fair)

    • ESL teachers will be located in the Library

  • 7th & 8th Grade Parents: It is imperative that you know your child’s homeroom. This is where you will receive their schedule for the evening.
