In
honor of Constitution Day, celebrated on September 17, Goshen
Intermediate School fifth grade students participated in a number of
educational activities to learn all about the 224 year old
historical document.
Students read books, participated in classroom activities, visited websites, played Constitution games and viewed Constitution videos on Discovery Education.
In addition, the fifth grade classes of classes are Karen Kropp, Anna Maria Slicker and Patricia Antisin participated in Constitution Day video conferences with the National Archives located at Fort Worth in Texas. The conferences were interactive sites where students listened and answered questions with Jenny Sweeney at the National Archives. They learned about our Constitution and government with elementary schools around the country.
