When is the vote?
The roof replacement and cupola restoration vote will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 13, from 6 a.m.-9 p.m.
Where do I vote?
Voting will take place at the district office in the Main Street Building.
Who may vote?
In order to vote on Dec. 13, you must be:
- A resident of the district for at least 30 days prior to the vote.
- 18 years of age or older.
- A citizen of the United States.
- Registered with either the school district or the county Board of Elections.
How do I register?
If you are registered to vote in general elections, you are automatically eligible to vote in school elections. If you are not registered, you can register to vote during regular business hours – from 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m. on days when school is in session – at the Main Street Building, 227 Main Street, Goshen. The last day for voter registration is Dec. 8, 2005.

How do I get an absentee ballot?
Absentee ballots may be obtained at the Office of the School District Clerk, Main Street Building, 227 Main Street, Goshen, between the hours of 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
The completed application must be received by the District Clerk at least seven days prior to the vote if the ballot is to be mailed, or the day before the vote if the ballot will be personally picked up by the voter.
Absentee ballots must be received by the District Clerk no later than 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2005.
Who is eligible for an absentee ballot?
Absentee ballots are available if you are:
- Unable to vote in person because of illness.
- Planning to be out of the area because you are on vacation or away for business.
- Confined to prison due to conviction of an offense other than a felony.
- Accompanying a spouse, parent, or child of the same residence who can’t come to the polls for one of the above reasons.
