THINGS TO REMEMBER

Attention

6th Grade Math Students

•  Do decimals leave you dizzy?

•  Do you have nightmares of dancing exponents and bases?

•  Do you have difficulty with homework and  math tests?

 You may need Math Support. There will be weekly math support meetings every Tuesday starting Oct.5th in Mr. Dornfest's room (201). The meetings will be after school from 2:30 to 3:00 PM. Each week we will be reviewing a different math topic. Snacks will be provided and there is a pass bus to take students home. Mrs. Nuara will be the guest speaker. The topic of the first math support meeting will be announced at a later date.

ATTENTION PARENTS!

        The AIS math faculty will be conducting workshops designed to enable parents to become more familiar with the math curriculum their child will encounter during the school year. They will be offered for each of the grade levels during the school year. During these workshops, parents will be introduced to topics and concepts that will be covered in their child's math class. The first Math Parent Workshop will in October. The topic, time and exact date of the workshop will be announced at a later date.
