Mrs. Caruso’s 7^th Grade Learning Lab

Learning lab is a time for reinforcing what has been taught in the core classes, reviewing of pertinent material, learning organizational and study skills, and improving reading, writing, and math skills. 

Study Tips

1. Complete all homework assignments and plan for long term projects.

**Check your assignment pad and the homework hotline daily.

2. Chunk it! Study only one section at a time. 

3. Vocabulary-make flash cards, games, or songs to study. 

**Remember to use your senses.

4. Pay attention in class.  If a teacher says, “This is important,” it’s probably going to be on a test.

5. When taking a test, relax and use the process of elimination…in multiple choice questions, cross out the answer choices that can’t be correct.  Skip questions you don’t know and come back to them later.  Check your answers!
