Happy New Year!

     It is hard to believe that winter break has come and gone and that we have started a new year.  We hope that everyone had a wonderful holiday and an a  relaxing and enjoyable time off. 

Just a few reminders for this month

SUPER SATURDAY (review for the New York State ELA test) will be held Saturday, January 10th.  Please see the school website for more information.

Monday January 19 (Martin Luther King Jr. Day) 

New York State ELA exams (January 20,21,22)

Sixth grade students will be taking the New York State ELA exams on January 20 21, and 22.  The students have been working hard to become familiar with necessary skills, the format of the test, and strategies to help them perform to their highest potential.  We have talked to them about the importance of getting a good night's sleep and having a good breakfast prior to testing so that they are in peak condition when they arrive.
