Causes of the American Revolution PowerPoint(11/29-12/2)

Objective: With a partner, or independently, create a PowerPoint presentation that depicts your understanding of the events leading up the American Revolution.  Use the daily schedules listed below to help ensure you complete your PowerPoint by Friday.

Tuesday, 11/29

-          Open up PowerPoint and choose the Design you would like to use for your presentation.  Create and save as “Causes of Revolution PowerPoint” in your folder.

-          Slide #1: Create your title slide: Include a title for your presentation, a picture, your names and class period

-          Slide #2:  Use the Interactive Timeline to figure out the name of the law passed by the British Parliament on October 7th, 1763.  Interactive Timeline http://www.wqed.org/tv/specials/the-war-that-made-america/timeline.html  Use the name of that law as your title for slide #2. 

Then, click on the link below and read the article about this law: http://encyclopedia.kids.net.au/page/pr/Proclamation_of_1763

Underneath your title on slide #2, explain what the law did and why Britain felt it should be enacted (British Point of View).  Describe how the Native Americans felt about this law (Native American POV).   Finally, describe how the colonists felt about this law and how they responded to the new law.
