Business and Personal Law is an introduction to prepare students to recognize and understand how the law works in local and national areas.  It strives to promote fairness, equal justice and individual rights so students will understand the value of acting as a responsible citizen.  Some of the topics covered are:  The constitution and the law, criminal law, tort law and contract law, family law, consumer law, housing law, and tax law.  Business and Personal Law may be used in the  business sequence or for a social studies credit.
