            4.  Keep your hands, your feet and all objects to yourself.

            5.  Stay in your seat unless you have been given permission to get up.

 B.  Disciplining procedures

If you choose to break a rule...

 C.  Classwork and Homework

1.  All assignments are due on time with your name on them.  No credit is given for unnamed assignments or   for late assignments, except in the case of an absence.  (1 day absent = 1 day to do assignment, 3 days absent = 3 days to do assignment).

2.  Homework will be checked and/or graded. For every three missing homeworks a point will be deducted from your marking period average. If all homework has been done a point will be added to your average.

3. When a student is absent a form will be completed (see over) giving details of work missed, quizzes given  and homework assigned and / or collected. The student is responsible for handing in due work and for making up work in the appropriate timeframe. If this is not done a zero will be assigned.

4.  Extra help is available with an appointment.

D.  Required Materials

            1.  3-ring binder with 5 dividers to be used only for French.

            2.  A pen and a pencil.  (Blue or black pens must be used on tests and quizzes.)

            3.  Loose-leaf paper (all written assignments are done on loose-leaf, nothing else.)

E.  Grading

            1.   50% oral grades; 50% written grades

  2.  Tests, projects and the vocab, verb, and grammar sections of your notebook are

considered major assignments.  Failure to complete these will make you ineligible

for the mid-term and final exams.

 3.  Self-evaluations and evaluations by the teacher determine your participation grade.
