Course Description:

This one-semester course will provide students with a basic overview of psychology, help them develop greater insight into human behavior, and gain a better understanding of themselves and others.

Core topics include:

• social, intellectual, and moral development

• the life span

• personality theory

• conditioning

• sensation and perception

• abnormal behavior

Since participation is an important component of this class, be prepared to take an active role in discussions, activities, and simulations.
