Welcome Todd Strasser
Our yearly Literacy
Festival is set for the week of April 14th
through the 18th. You will be receiving
a packet of information regarding the schedule and
activities planned for that week shortly. Our theme
this year will be “Writing on the Wild Side”. In
keeping with this theme, our visiting author this year
will be Todd Strasser. He is a local author from
Westchester County who has written fiction stories for
kids of all ages. He will be coming to our school on
Wednesday, April 16th. Below, you will find
a schedule of the day and a website you can visit.
**The GIS PTO
has graciously offered to purchase a free book for every
child in the school. We will be returning the book
orders some students have handed in already. We will
have some books by Mr. Strasser available in the library
for sharing with your students. Order forms for
teachers wishing to make a purchase are available in the
library.
