EXTRA...EXTRA...READ ALL ABOUT ME!

Hi! My name is Mrs. Roper! I have been a teacher at Scotchtown Avenue Elementary School for 13 years and have taught both first and second grades, as well as English Language Learner classes and Special Education inclusion classes. Currently, I am the English as a Second Language teacher in our building and truly love teaching here at Scotchtown Avenue School. Some things I really enjoy are reading, working with new technology, walking, and chocolate! The colleges I've attended include Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh, New York, Siena College in Albany, NY and Manhattanville College in Purchase, NY. My studies were focused on becoming a teacher with minors in Spanish and technology. Most of all, I love being a teacher and working with the students who come into my class.
