*Every child should be reading at home at least

15-20 minutes each day. 

*Allow your child to choose his/her own books.

It should be a fun experience, not a frustrating one. 

*Find books together about topics of interest.

*If your child chooses a book that is too difficult for him/her to read alone, do not be afraid to read it aloud to him/her. 

*Take turns reading every other page.
